Following his time as researcher in microbiology Jochen joined Genedata, one of the leaders within the the bioinformatics industry, supporting pharmaceutical research and development. During 9 years in Switzerland he served as a product expert and trainer with global assignments and as group product manager. This experience as well as managing extensive research and development collaborations with major pharma corporations offered him intimate insights into the pharmaceutical, red, green, and white biotech industries, and the respective processes.

Subsequently, Jochen moved on to business process management consulting with his particular interest focused on innovation processes and continual improvement, complemented by process oriented risk management and internal control systems.

Before co-founding bpExperts GmbH, Jochen was Deputy Practice Manager at IDS Scheer Consulting supporting Markus in leading the Pharma & Life science practice.

Jochen studied Biology in Würzburg and Edinburgh and holds a doctoral degree in microbiology.
