Competence Center Leader TechLab (f/m/d)

What will you do?
Our Competence Center TechLab supports customers and internal stakeholders in all technical questions related to BPM tools from the selection process over set-up to operations. It provides knowhow and services related to the deployment and integration of BPM tools and applications such as BPA, process mining tools, process governance tools, as well as reporting and analytics features.
To best support Business Transformation, you will be responsible to manage:
People: Project management (agile, waterfall), collaboration tools
Processes: BPM, BPA, robotics, workflow engines
Systems: SAP ECC and S/4 HANA (cloud and on premise)
Data: Data migration and cleansing tools
Our Competence Center TechLab is involved in customer projects, internal projects and the fulfillment of managed service contracts. Competence Centers at bpExperts are places to seek knowledge and advise. They are offering step stones for development of individuals as well as a team and act as islands for creativity and innovation to drive our business.
The Competence Center leader takes ownership and responsibility for the development and operation of a Competence Center and continuously monitors and improves its performance. She or he allocates resources and drives tactical and strategic decisions in close collaboration with the partners and other competence center leaders guided by bpExperts’ strategy, company values and an entrepreneurial spirit.
You will combine service and product development and delivery, business development and project assignments.
Leaders do not get appointed nor are they self-declared. Leaders must position themselves to attract followers and supporters.
Your profile
Completed studies in the field of information technology or comparable educational background
Professional experience in IT, ideally in IT consulting
Experience in coordinating people and leadership roles in a multicultural environment
Capable to effectively communicate on all levels of an organization
Structured approach and systematical thinking skills
You combine conceptional and analytical skills with a focused hands-on mentality
Experience in managing freelancers, near shore developers, and technology partner networks
Strong entrepreneurial thinking drives your decision making
Strong capability to assess potential and impact of new technology trends
Experience with SAP ECC and S/4 HANA, especially connectivity, interfacing, API
Knowledge in object-oriented programming and scripting (ideally JavaScript) as well as SQL and XML
Experience with Microsoft Windows client/server and IIS and ASP.NET framework
Very good command of spoken and written English
